Pirates Add DL Deonte Anderson
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed defensive lineman Deonte Anderson. The former Mississippi State Bulldog spent four seasons in Starkville. He appeared in 41 games from 2021 through 2025 making ten starts. He finished his career making 74 tackles including 6.5 for a loss. He added two sacks, broke up five passes and had one quarterback hurry.

Anderson, who checks in at 6'3", 260 lbs., had his finest season as a redshirt sophomore in 2023 when he had a season high of 38 tackles in 12 games with three tackles for a loss, four passes broken up and a forced fumble.
Anderson graduated with a degree in Business Administration and was a three-time All SEC Fall Honor Roll Student.
A native of Miami, FL, Anderson was a four star recruit out of Fort Mead High School and was selected to the All-American Bowl in 2020.
