Pirates Sign WR Ja’ Khi Douglas
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed former Florida State wide receiver Ja’ Khi Douglas. Douglas signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants of the National Football League in 2025. After going to minicamp with the Giants he signed a contract with the DC Defenders of the UFL.

The 5'10", 190 lb. wideout from Houma, Louisiana played five seasons at Florida State from 2020 through 2024. He finished his career with the Seminoles with 77 receptions in 49 games for 1,256 yards and nine touchdowns. He also ran 27 times for an additional 87 yards.
His most productive season in Tallahassee was as a red-shirt senior in 2024 when he started in eight of 12 games pulling in 32 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns. That season he ranked eighth in the ACC with an average of 16.22 yards per reception.
In 2023 Douglas was an All-ACC Academic Team selection. That season in a win over Pittsburgh he established a single game career best with six receptions for a career high of 115 yards.
