Pirates Sign DB Kendall Bohler
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed defensive back Kendall Bohler. Bohler, who grew up in Orlando, played four seasons at Florida A&M University and after graduation in 2025 signed as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League and went to rookie minicamp.

In November of last year he then signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League and stayed with the team until May of this year.
The 6'0", 190 lb. DB began his collegiate career at Mercer University in Macon, GA. He played in two games as a true freshman in 2019 and made one tackle before redshirting.
Bohler transferred and from 2021 through 2024 played for the Rattlers of Florida A&M. He started 29 times in 44 games and finished his career with 105 tackles with four interceptions and 33 passes broken up. Bohler also recorded six tackles for a loss along with one fumble recovery and two blocked kicks.
His finest year at the Tallahassee school was in the Rattles HBCU Division One National Championship season of 2023. In 13 games Bohler earned First-Team All SWAC honors as Florida A&M defeated Howard 30 - 26 in the Celebration Bowl. His interception helped to secure the National Title. That season he recorded 39 tackles with two for a loss. He had one interception and broke up 15 passes.
Bohler posted similar numbers in his final season and played in the HBCU Legacy Bowl and the Hula Bowl. A two-time All SWAC Commissioners Honor Roll Selection, Bohler earned a degree in Allied Health Sciences.
