Pirates Sign LB Sundiata Anderson
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates have signed linebacker Sundiata Anderson. Anderson was most recently in camp with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.

The 6'4", 250 lb. linebacker from College Park, GA signed as an undrafted free agent with the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League in 2024 and played in two preseason games, making two tackles before his release. He then joined Saskatchewan in December of 2025 and remained with the team until their final roster cuts in May.
Anderson played collegiately at Grambling State University in Louisiana from 2018 through 2023. He appeared in a total of 33 games, making 23 starts. In 11 games in 2023 he achieved a career high of 60 tackles with 32 solo stops. He added 11.5 tackles for a loss, recorded five sacks and a pair of forced fumbles. He finished ninth in the conference in sacks and was an All-SWAC First Team Selection.
In 2022 he reached 50 tackles (23 solo) with 12.5 tackles for a loss with seven sacks, two forced fumbles, two pass deflections and a blocked kick. Anderson ended his career with 136 tackles with 28.5 for a loss with 14 sacks.
